Privacy

ReelTempo is a product of 123TEQ LLC. This page explains, in plain language, what we do with the information you share on reeltempo.social. We keep it minimal on purpose.

What we collect

• What you tell us when you sign up. Your business name and email address, and your website and Instagram handle if you choose to give them — plus basic technical details of the request (IP address, browser user-agent, referring page) and the campaign codes in the link that brought you to this site, which tell us which ad or website sent you. Signing up creates an account for your business; we send you a sign-in link by email rather than asking for a password.
• Anonymous analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that we run on our own server, to see which pages and buttons get used in aggregate. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't follow you across sites, and doesn't build a profile of you. On the signup page and while you set up your business, it also records how the page is used (where people click and how far they scroll) so we can see where they get stuck. Anything typed into a form is hidden before it leaves your browser, and recordings are deleted after 30 days. The rest of this site is not recorded. So that we can tell whether a visit that signs up goes on to set a business up, your browser tab keeps a random number while it is open, and the sign-in link we email you carries it along. It is not a cookie, it is gone when you close the tab, and it holds nothing about you.
• What you write in the chat. If you use the Chat with us button, your messages, and your name and email address if you give them, are kept in our support inbox (Chatwoot, which we run on our own server) so a person can read and reply. Nobody is answered by a bot.
• The Meta advertising pixel. Every public page here — the site, and the signup page — loads Meta's pixel. Meta, in the United States, is told that a browser visited the page, and sets its own cookies in your browser. If you complete a signup, the pixel also tells Meta that one happened; it is not sent your name, your email address or anything else you typed. We use it to measure whether our own advertising brings businesses here. You can limit it in your browser's cookie settings or through your Meta ad preferences, and Meta's own handling of it is covered by its privacy policy.
• The OpenAI advertising pixel. The same pages also load OpenAI's ads pixel, so we can tell whether our ads in ChatGPT bring businesses here. OpenAI, in the United States, is told that a browser visited the page, and sets its own cookies in your browser. If you sign up, our server also tells OpenAI that a signup happened and when your business's account is created, with your IP address, your browser's name and a one-way scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address so it can match the signup to an ad; your email itself, your business's name and anything else you typed are not sent. OpenAI's own handling of it is covered by its privacy policy.
• Which currency to show you. When you first arrive, we check which country your IP address belongs to, only to show prices in Australian dollars (Australia and New Zealand) or US dollars (everywhere else). The check happens on our own server against a list we keep there; your address is not sent anywhere or saved for it. If you use the currency switch, your choice is kept in a cookie so we remember it. The address list is IP Geolocation by DB-IP, used under CC BY 4.0.

Why we collect it

To create and run your business's account, to reply to you, and to understand how this page and our ads are working so we can improve them. The lawful basis is your request to us.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
• The only cookie we set is the currency you choose — the Meta pixel described above is the only tracking on this site, and there is no other advertising tag on it.
• We don't post anything, anywhere, on your behalf without your approval.

How it's shared

Two companies handle it on our behalf, and no one else does. Cloudflare sends the email that carries your sign-in link, so it handles your email address. Meta receives the pixel data described above. We don't pass your details to anyone else, and we don't sell them.

Once you are using ReelTempo itself, your footage and anything you hold about your own customers live in the product, under the agreement we set up with your business. This page covers only the reeltempo.social website and signing up — not what happens inside the product.

How long we keep it

Your business's account details stay for as long as you have an account with us. If you only ever wrote to us, we keep that for as long as we're in touch about it. Either way, you can ask us to delete it at any time, and a business's Admin can delete the whole business account from Settings.

When a business account is deleted, everything in it goes: footage, posts, settings, sign-ups and every sign-in. We keep a one-line record that the business account existed (its name and the dates it was created and deleted) and our website statistics, which are about visits, not people. Database backups taken before the deletion still hold the business's records, not its footage, and are never restored into ReelTempo.

Your choices

You can ask to see or delete anything we hold about you at any time. Just email [email protected].
